Pre-Primary Sections in Govt Schools 2026-27

• Proceeding from the Director of School Education and State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Telangana (Dr. E. Naveen Nicolas, I.A.S.) dated May 26, 2026.
• The main subject is regarding the opening of Pre-Primary Sections in certain Government and Local Body Primary and Upper Primary Schools in the State during the academic year 2026-27.
• Approval to Start Pre-Primary Sections: The Government has accorded permission to start 2,769 Pre-Primary Sections immediately across the State for the Academic Year 2026-27. This includes:
• 529 sections in the CURE region.
• 2,240 sections in the Non-CURE region.
• Provision for Infrastructure: District Collectors and District Educational Officers (DEOs) are directed to take up minor repairs and procure furniture, indoor and outdoor play materials, and BALA paintings. An amount of Rs. 1 Lakh has been allocated per institution for this purpose.
• Hiring of Staff: District Collectors are engage Pre-Primary instructors and Aayas in all these Pre-Primary Sections on a honorarium basis following the detailed government guidelines.
• Enclosures provided: The document encloses operational guidelines for opening these sections, a list of the approved schools (in Annexures I, II & III) based on proposals received from districts, and the draft specifications for furniture and play materials.

    ఈ విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో 2026-27  రాష్ట్రంలోని కొన్ని ప్రాథమిక మరియు ప్రాథమికోన్నత పాఠశాలల్లో ప్రీ-ప్రైమరీ (Pre-Primary) విభాగాలను ప్రారంభించడం జరుగుతుంది.

    రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రభుత్వ మరియు స్థానిక సంస్థల ప్రాథమిక, ప్రాథమికోన్నత పాఠశాలల్లో 2,769 ప్రీ-ప్రైమరీ సెక్షన్లను (CURE ప్రాంతంలో 529 మరియు నాన్-CURE ప్రాంతంలో 2,240) ప్రారంభించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం అనుమతి మంజూరు చేసింది.

    జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లు / డీఈవోలు (DEOs) ప్రతి విద్యాసంస్థకు రూ. 1 లక్షలోపు నిధులతో చిన్నపాటి మరమ్మతులు, ఫర్నిచర్ కొనుగోలు, ఇండోర్ మరియు అవుట్‌డోర్ ఆట వస్తువులు, బాలా (BALA) పెయింటింగ్స్ తదితర పనులను చేపట్టాలి.

    మార్గదర్శకాల ప్రకారం, జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లు అన్ని ప్రీ-ప్రైమరీ సెక్షన్లలో పారితోషికం (Honorarium) ప్రాతిపదికన ప్రీ-ప్రైమరీ ఇన్‌స్ట్రక్టర్లను మరియు ఆయాలను నియమించాలి.
