Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata 2025-26
The following activities shall be taken up.
- Door-to-door campaign shall be conducted daily by Headmasters, Teachers, HWOs and AAPC members. Rallies, Banners, Posters, distributing pamphlets etc. are to be planned to reach the community.
- To collect feedback from community and parents to address the concerns and continuous improvement.
- To create awareness and to motivate the parents/community for admission of children in Government Schools by explaining parents/community on facilities provided by the State Government under AAPC, Implementation of English Medium in Schools, FLN/LIP, etc.
- To enrol the eligible Anganwadi children & 5+ age group children into nearby Primary Schools in Class-I in coordination with officials of the Women Development & Child Welfare Department at the District/Mandal/Village level.
- Identify school-age and out-of-school children, drop outs, never enrolled children and long absentees with the help of women Self Help Groups (SHGs) and design an action plan to enrol these children into Government Schools.
- Prepare an appropriate action plan to identify the children with special needs (CwSN) and enrol them in Schools / Bhavitha Centres.
- Identification of child labour in work place locations, construction sites and to enrol them in appropriate classes in Govemment Schools
- The Head Masters and Staff of Primary / Upper Primary Schools shall have to Update the Village Education Register (VER) which captures the data of all school age children as per RTE in the habitation and their year wise educational status etc., before 10.06.2025.
- Online promotion activity shall be completed as per the schedule given by this office.
- Readiness Programmes shall be conducted for children to create interest in school and education.
- Welcoming parents, community and all public representatives in traditional way for ail the activities of Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata programme to be conducted from 12.06.2025 to 19.06.2025
- Give wide publicity about the welfare Hostels nearby School Head Masters and concerned Hostel Welfare Officers (HWOs).

- Parent Teacher Meeting to be conducted in a grand manner. Sending personalised invitations, ensuring maximum parents attendance, creating a sense of ownership of the school, requesting them to give wide publicity in the village, to motivate other parents of the village who are sending their wards to other schools.

- Meeting with Self Help Groups and AAPC members for creating a sense of ownership of the school and requesting their support in identifying school age children, CwSN Children, OOSC and Girl children to ensure their enrolment and retention and also to coordinate for timely completion of uniform stitching.

- Meeting with Anganwadi Teachers & Mothers Committees for creating a sense of ownership of the school to ensure transition between Anganwadi and Primary school and enrolment and retention of all school age children to improve coordination between Anganwadi and primary schools.

- Meeting with Youth and Local leaders to create awareness in the village on the quality education in Government schools and to ensure parents prefer Government schools for their wards' all round development.

Conduct of Grama Sabha to discuss on Prof Jayashankar Badi Bata enrolment drive
- To take pledge to enroll all school age children of the village in schools during Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata.
- To conduct Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata awareness rally covering all habitations of the school vicinity by involving
all Self-Help Groups, AAPC members, HMs & Teachers, HWOs, parents, old students etc.

- Visit to each and every household of sd'lool age children of the village for enrolling them in Schools.
- Prepare the list Of sctml going children and update the Village Education Register (VER) accordingly.

From 08.06.2025 to 10.06.2025 |
- Door to Door campaign for enrolment of school age children in the schools.
- To visit the Anganwadi Centres and motivate parents to enrol school age children in Government Schools.
- To create awareness of the parents by utilizing brochures, pamphlets, handouts etc., on the benefits offered by Government in admitting their children in Government Schools and facilities in Government schools for their continuance of study.
- To identify Out of School Children (Never enrolled / Dropout) in the Village and to enrol them in Schools.
- To identify the CWSN who require Special Education and to admit them in nearby Bhavitha Centre / Inclusive
Education Resource Centre and also to create awareness to parents about the benefits they receive in Bhavitha centres/1ERcs.
- The children who are identified for admission in Government Schools shall be provided an Admission Form
(one to be handed over to the parent and other to be kept at School) and to welcome the student and parent by giving a sapling.

- Conduct of meeting with all stakeholders to discuss on the progress done under Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata Programme from 06.06.2025 to 10.06.2025
- Left over school age children who are yet to enrol in Schools are to be identified and they are to be enrolled in Schools by 12.06.2025
- To discuss on day wise activities scheduled from 12.06.2025 to 19.06.2025 in Schools as a follow up of
Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata Programme and active involvement by all to enrol all School age children in Schools.
